We wish each of you a very Merry Christmas and a fantastic New Year!
We have had a great time here in the states with family and friends. Our daughter, Kelly, is getting married in April. Kelly and Jo really needed the time together to get things ready for the upcoming wedding! She is marrying Andrew Cochran, a youth minister and a fine Christian young man whom we welcome to our family greatly!
We are planning on returning to Cyvadier, Haiti the last of December for me (Drex) and Janurary for Jo. We really miss the kids and the work. Our orphans are doing great! They are getting great care from Danny and Leann Pye and Andreline while we are gone.
We had our Hands & Feet Project meeting last week in Franklin, Tennessee. It was a great meeting and we made some great plans for the coming year. The Board is truly in love with Jesus and the work in Haiti. It is a great pleasure to be associated with them and Audio Adrenaline! We ask your prayers for the coming year as we anticipate the great things God will do through this mission.
Don't forget to keep us and the country of Haiti in your prayers. Haiti has re-scheduled elections for Janurary 4th. This is so critical for Haiti. Keep this high on your prayer list for first of Janurary.
Also, if you need info about our work or info about taking a trip with your church group please contact Chris Cotton at chris@hafproject.org.
Be His Hands and Feet this year!

Greetings from Cyvadier, Haiti!
Construction is finally coming to a halt for the winter months. We have finished the roof on the second floor and removed all the plywood and 2x4's that supported it for 8 days. We will continue with the construction in Janurary when we return. We are leaving for the states on Thursday and will return about Janurary 4th. We have a daughter that is planning on a wedding, grandkids to see and lots to do before we return. It has been a great time in Haiti. We saw much done for the Hands & Feet Project. Hosted many groups and individuals, including several missionaries from Seguin (up on the mountain about 30 miles from here). Whenever they come thru they just about always stay either coming or going, sometimes both ways. Of course we are excited to see Americans and be able to help the cause of Christ in Haiti by helping other missions. Missionary friends are keeping Jabez for us until we return. Thamara is being kept by a Haitian lady who works for Tina Isenhower, another missionary here in Cyvadier. We are looking forwad to some R & R in the states but no doubt will be looking forward to coming back soon. When we return we will be finishing the top floor, hiring Haitian "Nannies" to watch the babies and then start filling up our rooms with kids.

Hi! Just a quick update from Cyvadier, Haiti! We are sending a picture with our first baby for the Hands & Feet Project! We were here just a couple of days when a man brought little Thamara Pierre. She is 16 months old and was very dehydrated and malnurished. That changed quicky as she is eating very well. Her mother had a stroke and is dying. Mark Stuart and Chris Cotton enjoyed her for a couple of days and await being back here August 7 with a large group from Los Angeles. The house is almost ready for us to move in. We should be in within 2 days. Your prayers and support are needed even more than before. Pray that the finances for this child and the many others that will come! Thanks for being there for the Hands and Feet Project. We have just begun to touch the lives of needy children in this area. More updates to follow soon!

Just a note to let you know we are on our way to Haiti tomorrow! A small group will go with us this trip. Mark Stuart and Chris Cotton from Audio A and Flicker Records will be joining us for 4 days. We will return to the states November 4th or so. Much has been accomplished since our last report. The first floor of the compound is finished and we will move in as soon as we get back! Our truck (a new Nissan Frontier -crewcab 4X4) will be waiting for us.This truck will certainly be a blessing to us and the work we are doing in Cyvadier. A missionary friend picked it up today and will drive it to Jacmel tomorrow. We are excited to get back and continue with the construction and loving the children of the Jacmel / Cyvadier area! Please keep us in your prayers. We always feel the presence of God there, and it is an awesome feeling!! Pray for the people and the help we will give following 3 storms that have already hit this season. Emily and Dennis both hit Jacmel and Cyvadier. No damage was done to our property, but some small houses and gradens were destroyed. I know that some have been injured and a few died. It could be a long hurricane season this year. Usually it is September before they begin. It could be a very terrible season for the Haitians and our missions. Keep us all in your prayer. We'll update you with photos as soon as possible. Thanks for your prayers and support!

Dear Friends,
It has been some time since I updated you on the progress at Cyvadier, Haiti's Hands & Feet Project. We were delayed, for over a month on the roof pour. But it finally happened today!!! After Chris Cotton and Keith Dowd came to Haiti from Nashville and helped greatly getting things ready, the pour took place. We also were helped by Danny Pye from Sequion, Haiti. He is a missionary up in the moutains and a good friend. Over 50 Haitians poured the 4 inch ceiling to building number one. It all was mixed by hand. They carried it by buckets up a ladder to the roof. We started May 26th at 5:00 AM Eastern time and finished at 6:00 PM. We were really tired. The well pump was put in last week and it was connected to Tina's generator today and it pumped clear water for the entire day, stopping just once for a 15 minute lunch break. It will supply us with good water for many years to come. Thanks to the individuals and churches that helped with that project. It is just great to see the things coming together. God is really blessing this work. We have been notified that we can purchase a brand new Nissan 4 door, with 4 wheel drive and air, in Port-Au-Prince, for the price of a used Toyota. A new Toyota is on a 3 or 4 month waiting list and is considerably higher in price. Pray that it will be out of customs this week.. All our needed appliances were purchased along with a large generator , inverter and batteries. We are planning on moving in in July. Thanks again for your prayer and support. The Hands & Feet people are really blessed with you as partners. We look forward to the Richland, Indiana Christian Church coming tomorrow. Thanks guys for your needed help this week.

We are at a hold on the roof because the truck we were going to use is not available now, it is being used by another mission. The roof is ready to be poured as soon as we can work out the details. Today we worked on the front gate and finished a short section of the wall that will support the gate. The front arches are poured and will look really nice.
We had a couple of little kids to come to us and tell us they don't have a mother or father. This has happened a couple of times already. They heard us talk about the kids that will live here will not have parents. So, they wanted to live with us... we won't have any trouble filling the place when finished.
There are a bunch of great little kids that live around the H& F site and it will be a joy to live there and help them in whatever way we can. Keep us in your prayers! Keep Haiti in your prayers. There is a lot of killing and robbing in Port-Au-Prince.

Hi from Cyvadier, Haiti!
Just a note to fill you in on what's happening. (1) The walls of the first floor are 2/3 finished. We will finish them on Friday. (2) We finished the block laying on the wall around the building site today! All we need now is to put on the gate and string the chain-link fence across the back. (We need funds for this project) (3) The well was good! Tina has drilled one well at the school (also good) and is drilling the well at the Village of Hope for the elderly as I type. (4)We have a special prayer need. As most of you know the property of Tina's for the old people was next to an Exotic nightclub(this opened after she purchased her property). They had to sell out and leave country and Tina was wanting to buy the property. When she got back from her eye surgery she learned that a voodoo mamba (lady priest) wanted the property for a voodoo nightclub and show place. She placed a down payment on the land and we thought she would not be able to come up with the money. But, she did come up with the money on the last day!!!! We prayed the exotic nightclub out, so join us specifically to pray that this voodoo club will likewise meet its doom soon!!!
We are excited as our first "Official" group from the states to work with Hands & Feet Project is waiting in the wings. They will come Thursday and leave the following Thursday. There are 13 from Franklin, Tenn. Christian Church. Andy, the youth minister and Tim, an elder from the church, are the only two that have been to Haiti before. I'll be meeting them in Port Au Prince to fly down on a chartered plane to Jacmel and then on to Cyvadier. We are as excited as they are. They will be very busy with construction. Pray for them to have a safe and productive trip.

What a day for the Hands and Feet Project! First, the walls on the first floor are over half finished! (Photos inclosed). If that wasn't enough of a blessing, the well drillers from Port-Au-Prince mission "Blue Ridge" came at about 1:30 PM. We couldn't get the big rig and support truck to the back site where the dorm is being constructed, so we set up in the front 253 feet of our driveway. It was plenty large enough and soon the mud was flying! At 7:30 tonight the well was drilled, the plastic pipe was in and the water was flowing!! They will return tomorrow for cleaning the pipe and testing the well. All the preliminary tests showed that it was good, and not salty. Pray for the well tonight that it will be good, sweet water!! After finishing HFP's well they have two to drill for [fellow missionary] Tina's mission school and Elderly Village of Hope sites! Pray that these will be good also! Take care and continue to pray for us and the work here. Wish you all could be here everyday and see God working in all that we do! Thanks so much for your support, prayers and encouragement!

Hi! We had a great day today. Prepared the final steel for the foundation and floor. We will pour the floor tomorrow!!!! The well drillers called today and will be here tomorrow. They will probably drill our well Friday. Things are really looking up. Help! We need construction money. If you would like to help with our needs let me know and I'll tell you where to send the money in the states (TAX-DEDUCTIBLE gifts can be sent to: Hands & Feet Project; P.O. Box 682105; Franklin, TN 37068-2105.) We have included a couple of photos tonight. (1) First load of many of "sob" (sand) that we will need to make the "Biton" (concrete). (2) Boss Tellephant, Boss Dieu Si Bon and Boss Drex laying out the plumbing for the first floor bathrooms! Take care and remember us in your prayers!! The Voodoo drums were so loud and close last night we had trouble sleeping!! But our God is greater than theirs!!
